Mr. Guillermo Arias Villegas My father was an excellent influence and tremendous contributor to the diverse projects that I conducted since I graduated from Colleague in Chile and through out my PhD studies from the University of California, Davis. He helped in assisting with the first research projects in Chilean Coleoptera in national parks and wild areas, as well as with transportation, packing, and the labeling of collected beetle specimens. During his last 9 years years he helped in organizing my field work in Chile and helping collaborators that came to Chile to conduct field work. My father help also with an array of errands and ultimately labeling and databasing the Chilean Coleoptera specimens. My loyal parents Guillermo and Carlota, have always been very enthusiastic and strongly support of my research.
