The native forest here is surrounded by a brutally inpenetrable thicket of bamboo, ferns, and vines-- but if you work had enough to get through that, you'll be rewarded by some lovely fungus. This gilled mushroom was devoid of leiodids, but had a small group of handsome nitidulids (another kind of fungus-loving beetle) living on it.
