At Puesco, we were helped by the park director, Alvaro, and his wife Erica (at left), who allowed us to collect on their beautiful farm. The land they live on is right at the border of the park and is covered with old-growth southern beech trees and woodpiles, where we collected a surprisingly large amount of very interesting fungus beetles and ground beetles.
